How long
9 days and 8 nights
Where
Calgary · Waterton · Canmore · Jasper · Banff · Kamloops · Vancouver
Start
Meet our bus at Calgary International Airport at about 10:00 AM Calgary time on May 29. The first flight out of Toronto gets there in time. The bus cannot go back for people who arrive late.

Deposit
CAD $250 for each person. You cannot get this money back. The deposit saves your spot on the trip — it does not save your plane seat, so buy your plane ticket early.

Group
One bus only. Minimum 20 people. Maximum 50 people.

On June 6, we fly home from Vancouver — to Toronto, Montreal, or Edmonton.

Why go on this trip?

The Canadian Rockies are one of the most beautiful places in the world.

You will see mountains with snow, lakes with bright blue water, and waterfalls with strong, clear water.

You may see wild animals too, like elk, deer, and bighorn sheep.

Many of our kababayan dream of this trip for years. Now you can do it the easy way.

You do not need to hike. Our bus stops at places with big views and very little walking.

Our pace is relaxed. There is no rush. Our tour leader travels with you, and we give support in Tagalog.

And one more thing: do not forget your camera. The views everywhere are amazing!

Prices

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Each price is for one person.

The prices on this page are for travellers who fly from Toronto. Most of our travellers come from Toronto, so we show the Toronto prices.

CAD $2,899

CAD $3,399

Do you fly from Montreal, Edmonton, or another city? Your price is different, because the plane ticket from your city costs a different amount. We do not put those prices on this page. Please call Anette first, and she will give you your price. Everything else — the deposit, the payment dates, and what is included — is the same for everyone.

Your flights are in the price. We fly to Calgary at the start of the trip. At the end, we fly home from Vancouver.

Prices are final when you book early. We must buy the plane tickets as early as we can, because plane tickets get more costly with time. If airfare has already gone up before you book, please call us first.

If you come alone: We will match you with another traveller, so you share a room with that person. If you want a room only for yourself, please call Anette first to ask about it.

How to pay — 3 steps

Step 1 — Deposit: Pay CAD $250 for each person. This saves your spot on the trip — your seat on the bus and your hotel rooms. You cannot get this money back.

Please know this: the deposit does NOT save your plane seat. A plane seat is yours only when the ticket is bought. Every payment you make is part of your price. It is not an extra fee.

Step 2 — Buy your plane ticket as soon as you are sure you will join: If you are serious about this trip, please buy your ticket as soon as possible. Plane prices change very fast. Our ticket seller says the price can change in just a few hours. So we cannot tell you the exact ticket price before the day we buy it. You pay for the ticket when we buy it. The ticket money is part of your price.

Step 3 — Pay what is left, in 2 payments: After the deposit and the plane ticket, the rest of your price is split into 2 payments:

Anette will tell you the exact amount of each payment after your ticket is bought, because it depends on your ticket price.

How to pay: You can send an e-transfer, or you can pay cash in person.

If you need to cancel: Please read this with care. The $250 deposit cannot be given back to you. We buy the cheapest plane tickets, and those tickets cannot be refunded and cannot be given to another person. We also cannot change the name on a plane ticket. So if you cancel, you cannot send another person in your place, and you will lose your deposit and the money for your plane ticket. The only way to get money back is from your own travel insurance, and only if your reason is one the insurance covers, like if you get sick. This is why we strongly say: buy travel insurance when you book. Please ask Anette — we can help you with insurance.

Places we plan to visit

These are the places we want to visit on this trip:

Red Rock Canyon · Prince of Wales lookout · Waterton lookout · Lac des Arcs · Canmore Engine Bridge · Canmore downtown · Lake Louise · Moraine Lake · Bow Lake · Peyto Lake · Columbia Icefield · Skywalk · Athabasca Falls · Sunwapta Falls · Bow Falls · Banff Gondola · Emerald Lake · Stanley Park · Capilano Hanging Bridge · Vancouver

We will visit as many of them as we can. Visits depend on the time, the traffic, and the road and weather conditions. We cannot promise every place on the list.

Why do we say this? In May 2026, heavy rain and traffic made us miss some places on our list. We would rather be honest with you now than promise too much.

What is included?

  • Flights: to Calgary at the start of the trip, and home from Vancouver at the end
  • Coach bus for the whole land trip
  • Park passes for the national parks
  • 8 nights in hotels — most are in the centre of town; in Jasper, we sleep in a chalet
  • Breakfast at the hotel. If a hotel gives no breakfast on a morning, we will give you instant cup noodles.
  • Some snacks
  • Bottled water for the whole trip
  • A tour leader who travels with the group
  • Support in Tagalog

What is NOT included?

  • Tickets for Columbia Icefield, the Skywalk, the Banff Gondola, and Capilano. These are separate fees. You can choose to join them or skip them. Ask Anette for the price. She can buy the tickets for the group and get a group discount.
  • The tip for the bus driver: CAD $7 for each day, for each person — $63 in all. Please bring this in cash, in an envelope, and give it on the last day of the trip.
  • Your lunches and dinners. Please bring money for them.
  • Travel insurance — it is not in the price, but we strongly say to buy it. Please read the part called "If you need to cancel" under Prices. We can help you buy insurance. Please ask Anette.
  • Things you buy for yourself, like gifts and items from the shops

About your bags: Each airline has its own rules for bags, and the cheapest tickets often do not include a checked bag. Please check with Anette about bags before you pack.

Please be at Calgary Airport on time

This trip starts in Calgary, not Toronto.

  • Our bus picks up the group at Calgary International Airport at about 10:00 AM Calgary time on Saturday, May 29, 2027.
  • Please be there on time. The bus cannot go back for people who arrive late.
  • The first flight out of Toronto lands in time for the pickup.
  • If you live in another city, like Edmonton or Montreal, you can still join us. You just need to be in Calgary for the pickup time.
  • Please check your flight time with Anette before the trip, so you do not miss the bus.

What to bring

  • A government photo ID for your flights, like a driver's licence or a passport
  • Good walking shoes with a strong grip. You do not need hiking boots. There is very little walking, but the ground can be wet.
  • Warm clothes you can wear in layers. Spring in the mountains can be cold, wet, or sunny — all in one day. At the glacier, it is cold even in spring, so bring a warm jacket, a hat, and gloves.
  • Your camera or phone — the views everywhere are amazing!
  • Money for your lunches and dinners
  • Money for the ticket places you want to join: Columbia Icefield, Skywalk, Banff Gondola, and Capilano
  • Cash in an envelope for the driver tip: $7 for each day, $63 in all — you give it on the last day of the trip
  • A small bag for your snacks, water, and things for the day

Our 2026 trips

We did trips like this one in 2026 — and our travellers went home happy.

In May and June 2026, our Western Canada group flew to Calgary and travelled to Vancouver, just like this trip. They stood on the Athabasca Glacier and waved the Canadian flag.

Our May 2026 group standing on the Athabasca Glacier, waving a Canadian flag

In October 2026, our Alberta group visited Waterton, Banff, and Jasper. Sixteen travellers came — some from Toronto, and some from Edmonton. They posed on the red rocks of Red Rock Canyon, took photos at the Waterton lookout, and saw elk near their chalet in Jasper.

In 2027, we take the best of both trips and put them in one trip — and we end in Vancouver.

Questions people often ask

Call Anette at 416-690-9683. Then pay your deposit of CAD $250 for each person, by e-transfer or by cash in person. The deposit saves your spot on the trip, but it does not save your plane seat — so if you are serious about joining, buy your plane ticket as soon as possible after that. Then pay what is left of your price in 2 payments: the first on or before March 30, 2027, and the second on or before April 29, 2027. Anette will tell you the exact amounts after your ticket is bought.

No. The Interest List does not save a seat. It only means we will send you news and reminders by email. Only the deposit saves your seat, and we give seats in the order we get the deposits.

Please decide on or before March 29, 2027. That is 2 months before the trip. First, call Anette to ask if seats are still open. If seats are open, pay the $250 deposit right away, and buy your plane ticket right away too — and please know that your first balance payment is due the next day, March 30. If the bus is full by then, we will put you on a waitlist, in the order you signed up.

Yes. Your flight to Calgary, and your flight home from Vancouver, are in the price. But please know: the $250 deposit does not hold a plane seat. Your seat on the plane is yours only when the ticket is bought. Plane prices change very fast — our ticket seller says the price can change in just a few hours — so we cannot tell you the exact ticket price before the day we buy it. If you are serious about this trip, buy your ticket as soon as possible. If you wait, the ticket may cost more. Prices are final when you book early. If airfare has already gone up before you book, please call us first.

No. The prices on this page are from Toronto. If you fly from Montreal, Edmonton, or another city, the plane ticket costs a different amount, so your price is different too. We do not put those prices on this page. Please call Anette first, and she will give you your price. The deposit and the payment dates are the same for everyone.

At Calgary International Airport. Our bus picks up the group there at about 10:00 AM Calgary time on May 29. That is 12:00 noon Toronto time. The first flight out of Toronto lands in time. If you come from another city, like Edmonton or Montreal, please be at the airport before the pickup time. The bus cannot go back for people who arrive late.

The $250 deposit cannot be given back. Our plane tickets are the cheapest kind: they cannot be refunded, they cannot be given to another person, and we cannot change the name on them. So you cannot send another person in your place. If you must cancel, the only way to get money back is from your travel insurance, and only for a reason the insurance covers. This is why we strongly say to buy insurance when you book.

You do not have to buy it, but we strongly say yes, buy it. Your payments cannot be refunded, so insurance is the only protection for your money if you must cancel for a covered reason. You will also be in other provinces, so medical cover is a good idea too. Please ask Anette — we can help you buy it.

Yes. This trip was made for you. Our stops have big views with very little walking. We do not hike. The pace is relaxed, and our tour leader is with you for the whole trip. If you are not sure about your health or walking, please call Anette and ask her before you book.

Very little. Most views are close to where the bus stops. Some places have short paths, steps, or wet ground. Please wear good walking shoes with a strong grip.

Yes, if you come alone, we match you with another traveller, and you share a room. If you want a room only for yourself, please call Anette to ask about it.

Most hotels are in the centre of town. In Jasper, we sleep in a chalet. We do not put hotel names on this page.

Breakfast is in the price. If a hotel gives no breakfast on a morning, we will give you instant cup noodles. We also give some snacks, and bottled water for the whole trip. Lunches and dinners are not in the price, so please bring money for them. We cannot give a packed lunch on this trip, because we travel by plane too.

Bring money for: your lunches and dinners for 9 days; the ticket places you want to join (Columbia Icefield, Skywalk, Banff Gondola, Capilano — each one is a separate fee; ask Anette for the price, because she can buy the tickets for the group and get a group discount); the driver tip ($7 for each day, $63 in all, in cash in an envelope, given on the last day); and gifts or things you want to buy.

Each airline has its own rules for bags, and the cheapest tickets often do not include a checked bag. Please check with Anette about bags before you pack.

The trip goes on, rain or shine. Spring weather in the mountains changes fast. Please dress in layers and bring a warm jacket. Some stops can change if the weather, time, or traffic does not allow them — we will always stop at as many places as we can.
